Course Info & Admissions

Generally, new classes begin the first Monday of each month, except December.
The school is open for classes Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, year around. We are closed weekends and most major holidays.

Students’ schedules are as follows:

  • Monday - Friday 
  • Classes begin at: 8:00 AM
  • Part-Time Schedule: 4 hours per day 
  • Full-Time Schedule: 6 hours per day 
  • Hours of operation are 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (including a 30 minute lunch break) This makes it possible for a student to clock up to 8 hours per day.

 

Cosmetology Course - 1500 hours

Cosmetology is the study of the art and science of beautifying and improving the skin, nails, and hair and the study of cosmetics and their application.


Graduates of this course will have acquired the knowledge and skills to be successful in the cosmetology field and pass the TDLR State Board Exams. Upon licensure, employment can be obtained in a number of beauty related industries. The career opportunities for licensed cosmetologists are many such as a product advisor for a variety of beauty products, platform artists, work for television studios, nursing homes, and funeral homes. Many choose to become business owners, such as owning their own salon or other beauty related business.

Anyone enrolling for less that 1500 hours will have their tuition and length of time prorated. Transfer hours need to be available through TDLR prior to enrollment.

The study of manicuring, pedicuring, and artificial nail services.

The career opportunities for licensed manicurists are many such as product advisor for a variety of nail products, platform artist, or choose to work in, manage or own a nail salon.

The instructor’s course will allow you to learn philosophy and professional development to become a successful master educator. You will also learn the basic functions to facilitate learning amongst students in the study of the art and science of teaching and instruction of cosmetology and manicuring.



Graduates of this course will have acquired the knowledge and skills to pass the TDLR State Board Exams and become a successful master educator. Upon licensure, employment can be obtained in a number of beauty related industries. The career opportunities for licensed instructors are many such as product educator for a variety of beauty related products, or choose to work for or manage a beauty school.
